Jacobs Pond 4/7/14

Finally caught some fish with my new fly rod, using an olive wooly bugger. A good sized pickerel and two yellow perch. There wasn't much wind to affect my casts, so I was able to get the fly's right where I wanted them.

Comments

  • I had no idea that trolling motors were prohibited. It's good that they are spraying the weeds though they are too much by mid summer.

  • I'm jealous, I spend 4 hours there on Sunday and didn't get a sniff. I eventually got thrown off the lake by some town water guy. Apparently you can not have a trolling motor on the lake? Even though this is not posted any where. He did say that they are spraying the weeds this year.

The new dock is pretty sweet though.
