I have been looking over the winter for a nice place to fish come spring. My sons and I went to Salem MO a couple weeks ago to look at some property and while we there we stopped by Shawnee Mac lakes. There are two lakes Ziske and Turner. Ziske is a 30 acre conservation lake and Turner is a 17 acre conservation lake. They both have boat ramps, comfort stations, picnic areas and primitive camping areas. Just as soon as the weather permits we are gonna go give it a whirl. Has anyone else ever fished there? If so lets hear some stories about your trips or feel free to post on some intentions. Shawnee mac is only 2 miles east of Salem out 10th street. Great looking place. I will be sure to post back later and give a detailed report of my findings.
