I found a private lake about 10 miles from my househere in St.James MO. The fella that owns it allows My son, Dave Jr. and I to fish all we want. in the last couple months ( Aug. and Sept. 2009) we have caught some real nice bass, crappie and perch.

 Also Dave Jr. and I have built a little pond boat. out intentions was to have a jon boat style that we could pop in the back of the truck and toss in small ponds lakes etc. to run trot lines with. I have on pic of us in the boat for my icon I'll post some more in my pictures.

  We are planning another boat building session come spring ( dang winter) this boat will be larger to use at the lake of the ozarks or other larger water and it will be V bottomed and powered by our own sort of homemade frankensteined Motor.  Building all of this has been the most enjoyable father son times I can imagine and i recommend it to anyone looking for some fun quality times!
