we usually use 3 inch rapalas or a soft worm (i like yums). we have found the perch rapala to be the best crankbait we use. the silver minnow is pretty good too. just depends on what they are eating that day. |

the parking is good. there is a vfw post there with a big lot. i think its a vfw. if you pull in and go to the right, you will see the railroad tracks and there is room to drive your car down closer to the bridge.
it does get crowded there. last time there were 7 of us trying to fish the current coming out of the tunnel. we've been there a few times, but we have never been alone. there is always someone there.
and of course, be careful of the trains, lol. its a commuter rail line, so they go through about every half hour or so. |

Route 109 i think it's teresca brothers sand and gravel. If you head down 109 from Millis the pit is on the right hand side of the street just before the charles river. You can pull in the parking lot on the left side of the street and launch from there. The ramp is owned by the window company and he charges $10 to use the ramp and parking. well worth the money. i have had my best luck from mid June to the mid of August. Not sure what you have for a motor but we normally run from 109 all the way down to rt 27 in sherborn and back. the trip usally takes use 4 to 5 hrs using a electric motor.
good luck Ed |

hi. saw your post. turner pond isn't bad. we've taken the canoe out there a few times this year and have caught some nice bass. foundry pond in foxboro is a great place, especially for a small inflatable. it's probably 20 mins down rt-115 for you. i can give you more specific directions if you want. we caught 120 fish there in one day. a lot are small perch, and specked bass, but we have caught a few decent bass, and some monster pickerel. its very quiet, we are always on the water alone. nice, peaceful place to sit and just enjoy fishing. |
