My wife, my son, his girlfriend and I went for a little early year fishing today(Jan 17th) We went to the maramec river and tried our luck. I got my truck stuck in some mud and they just weren't biting but it was a good day. We got out of the house and I got to try out a new rod and reel my son got me for Christmas. The river is in perfect shape right now for giging. Crystal clear and at just the right level. We didn't stay too long because the temp was dropping off pretty quick. Nice day though got some fresh air and a re-newed case of fishin' fever so when warmer weather gets here we'll be ready to give it another whirl. Dave Sr.  |
